WHERE EVERY KID GETS IN THE GAME
Upward Sports at Crossroads is a youth sports ministry for boys and girls in K–5th grade. Kids build skills, make friends, and learn about Jesus along the way.
WHAT IS UPWARD SPORTS?
Upward Sports is a Christ-centered sports ministry, and we're glad to host it at Crossroads. Every child plays in every game, so no one sits on the bench all season. Coaches teach the fundamentals of the sport, and they also teach character, like teamwork, respect, and doing your best. Each practice includes a short devotion, and each game day is a chance for families to cheer together. Whether your child has played for years or is picking up a ball for the first time, there's a spot for them here.
CURRENT SEASON: BASKETBALL 2027
Want to hear about future seasons? Tell us which sports your family is interested in, even ones we don't offer yet. Pick as many as you like. Your answers help us plan what's next, and we'll let you know when registration opens.
Not at all. Upward is built for every skill level, and coaches teach the basics.
Yes. Every child plays in every game. That's one of the things we love most about Upward.
It's a short, low-pressure time in early December where coaches see each child's skill level, so we can build balanced teams. It isn't a tryout, and every registered child is placed on a team. We'll email the date and details after registration.
